Year 12 Connection Day Highlights

On Friday 8th March, sixteen Year 12 students participated in a connection activity afternoon organised by OAC students, Amber T and Alyssa L. The goal of the event was to provide an opportunity for the Year 12 cohort to get to know each other better and form connections as they engage in a challenging academic year.
The afternoon involved a variety of icebreaker games and quizzes with fun prizes on offer. Students rotated through different activities in small groups to get a chance to meet and interact with their fellow Year 12 students, many of whom had never met. The quizzes featured questions about their interests and ambitions as well as questions about International Women’s Day. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable as the students competed in a spirit of fun.
A special thanks goes to Amber for approaching the school with the idea, providing prizes and driving the initiative forward. The event provided an engaging way for our Year 12 students to continue bonding and studying together.
