Important Update on MS Teams – Immediate Action required

Microsoft Teams image 1

At ÐßÐßÊÓƵ we appreciate your ongoing support during the rollout of MS Teams as our primary learning platform this year. DfE has advised that there have been updates to the New Teams platform over the last few months and have highly recommended us switching to New Teams.

We ask that you take the following steps by Monday 6th May to ensure that you have the best experience using the Teams platform.

Switch to New Teams

Making the switch is as simple as clicking the button in the top left corner of your Teams window. You will be able to access all of your lessons and work in the same way as you have been on Classic Teams.

Restart Computers Every Morning

To ensure all updates are applied and potential glitches are cleared, we remind all users to restart their computers every morning before starting Teams. Make it a routine to restart your computer each morning before you log in to your first class. This simple step can often resolve common technical issues.

Action Steps for School Coordinators

  • Assist in Implementation: Please assist in monitoring compliance with these measures and offer support to parents and students as needed.
  • Check-In with Students: We encourage you to check in with your students periodically to make sure they have switched to the new version of Teams and are restarting their computers daily.

Please continue to report any technical issues to our Learning Technology Team so that these can be tracked and followed up. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact our Learning Technology team: learning.technology799@schools.sa.edu.au

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
